Located on the scenic campus of the Masonic Home for Children, in Oxford, North Carolina, the Cobb Center at Dunn Cottage is the permanent home for history, tracing the past of North Carolina’s first and oldest operating residential home for children. Once known simply as Dunn Cottage or “The Baby Cottage”, this residence built in 1929 now holds the Colenda Gallery and Sallie Mae Ligon Archives, which contains the newly unveiled timeline, spanning 173 years of Masonic Home history. The Cobb Center also houses state-of-the-art conference facilities for groups of forty people or less.
