Welcome to the Cobb Center At Dunn
Cottage
Museum, Archives, Conference Center, and Alumni Hall
Located on the scenic campus of the Masonic Home for Children, in
Oxford, North Carolina, the Cobb Center at Dunn Cottage is the permanent
home for history, tracing the past of North Carolina’s first and oldest
operating residential home for children. Once known simply as Dunn
Cottage or
“The Baby Cottage”, this seventy-six year old renovated
residency holds the Sallie Mae Ligon Archives, a treasured collection of
Masonic Home memorabilia, dating back to its days as Oxford Orphanage
Asylum in 1873. It also houses state-of-the-art meeting and convention
facilities for your group or meeting.
