This Year’s Parade Line-up

1.                         Oasis, Patrol, Drum and Bugle Corp, and the Legion of Honor

2.                         Dignitaries and Invited Guest in Ragtops

3.                         Little Miss NC Float and other Masonic Floats

4.                         Oasis Temple Units

5.                         Amran Temple Units

6.                         Sudan Temple Units

 

Special Notes of Interest

-  The Oasis Flags, will line up at the top of Bell Street with Dignitaries and Floats to follow and will leave the parade line-up area at 9:30 am.  Shrine Units, starting with Oasis will follow immediately.

-  All Shrine units should line-up in the parade by coming from the back (intersection of Williamsboro and Spring – see map above) and heading to the front and their respective position as outlined by their parade director.  Due to limited space units are encouraged to arrive early, line-up tightly and realize that our parade line-up area ends at Military Street.

-  Shrine Units are asked to come to the parade lineup, drop-off participants first and then return to MHCO and the designated parade unit parking area.  Coming from MHCO to the parade and parking at the parade line-up site causes major traffic problems.

-  Ragtop convertibles and dignitaries will be lined-up directly at intersection of Bell and Spring Streets and we ask that both arrive no later than 9:00 am.

-  All other parade participants please arrive no later than 9:15 am to the parade line-up.

-  In case of inclement weather, MHCO and parade directors from all three temples will meet at the parade starting area and make a decision by 8:30 am.
